An agreement between ANZSSA and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) to facilitate professional exchanges in conjunction with each organisation’s conference program provides a wonderful opportunity for ANZSSA members to gain a valuable experience of student services (Australia) and student affairs (USA) through visits to universities in both countries, professional meetings, dialogue and cultural exchange. ANZSSA members are encouraged to get involved.

ANZSSA and the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS) also have a professional exchange that sponsors a member of each organisation to attend the other’s conference.

Sponsorship opportunity for students

ANZSSA is holding a combined conference with our ISANA colleagues on 5-8 December 2017 with the theme Widening Perspectives of Student Success. To ensure the student voice is represented, ANZSSA has the pleasure of offering $1000 funding to put towards conference costs for two students (one studying and located in Australia and another who is studying in New Zealand). These students will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of students and staff from other institutions, represent their country’s student experience on a student panel, further develop their leadership skill set, and share their learnings with their own student community.

Applications close on Friday 20 October 2017.
