ANZSSA Community Groups

Members are encourage to actively engage in our ANZSSA professional community. Take part as a member of a Professional Focus Group (PFG) that is of interest to you, or consider setting up a new group as the PFG convenor. Look out for professional development activities in your region and suggest regional networking opportunities to your region’s convenor.

Regional Groups and Professional Focus Groups are able to apply for funding to support professional development activities. An application for this funding must be submitted at least 60 days before the event is scheduled. For further information download the Professional Development Proposal Request Form.

Professional Focus Groups

A Professional Focus Group (PFG) is a group of professionals that has formed resulting from an area of common professional interest.  They are endorsed group within ANZSSA that enables them to contribute to the strategic directions of ANZSSA and have access to resources to assist them in their professional development or networking activities for its membership. Regional Groups

Each ANZSSA member by right of their membership is automatically affiliated with the Regional Group appropriate to their institution and/or geographical location.  Learn more about Regional Groups here.
